Radiant static drifts from the radioactive aura of the television.
Diminishing my pupils to pinholes of perception.
Bleeding the captions of the ten o'clock news with the dreams of death i see forthcoming.
War...War...War
Blah blah Blah...
Buy your American flags and your "Fuck Muslim" Bumper Stickers...
Layers of reality melt away as the hours count away like minutes.
Infomercials cloud the path of perception.
Breaking concentration into small fragments of space and time.
Spilling the contents of human comprehention all over the surrounding landscape.
Blood streaming through my veins relaying communication across the "Central Nervous System"
Dial-up mindload disconnection.

Fiber-optic suicide televised for the whole world to see on some FOX "[non]Reality" show.

Dimond ring blowjob debt card purchase.
International Genocide bombing caught in 90 mhz of pure chaos available on DVD and VHS.
In an antagonist world Reality is parallel to Fiction plagued by insomnia.
Where the Paradox of human emotion becomes coinsided with material idolization.
When war is forseen with the republicans eye.
Fought by the red white and blown apart children of America.

I love how you inserted computer language into it, its obviously an awesome part of this poem.
Horrible part.. is its so true it makes me want to hurl. but we can't really do anything to stop it.. unless we nuke ourselves. then maybe...
this is a fav for sure.

"There is no greater evil than men's failure to consult and to consider." - Sophocles' Antigone
Don't agree with eclipz04 though--- you can do something to stop... take some citizen, rally, protest, demonstrate, make bumper stickers, do whatever it takes [this poem is a great start] to get your government to listen. In a society where presidents are elected by flying brightly coloured baloons and photo-op handshakes, with 2.4 kids and regular church attendance..... politicians can't afford to ignore public opinion--- change the opinion, change the world.
Here endeth pompous lecture.
"Dimond ring blowjob deb[i]t card purchase."
This line is so fucking cool--you have no fucking idea. And when I see really fucking cool shit, I start to swear a whole goddam motherfucking lot--
Was I just doing it? Shit....
I think the last line's gotta go--it takes away from the rest of the poem; that's the gamble you take when you end poems on a one-liner. If you ended the poem on the line, "Fought by the red white and blown apart children of America," that would be PERFECT. It would make such a strong, blow-to-the-stomach ending...TRUST me.
GREAT job!!! Ube.
